Product Overview
Our MAX Solar DCAP kit with LTE includes everything you need to implement a solar powered DCAP to manage the Tehama RF network. The kit comes with our 4th generation DCAP, solar panel, battery, charge controller, UV resistant outdoor enclosure, and mounting hardware for a 2-inch pole. It can also be mounted to a wall or other Unistrut structures. An optional 12-inch post mounting kit is also available.
The 20W solar panel is large enough to fully charge the battery with just one day of full sunlight. With a full charge, the lithium iron phosphate battery can run the DCAP for over a week with no further sun exposure.‡
The Solar DCAP is designed for locations where electric power is not readily available. Mobile/manufactured home communities or commercial site are prime applications. The on-board cellular LTE module means that property supplied Internet is not required for operation.
Cellular service is managed by Tehama and is purchased annually from us. Verizon is the default carrier, but AT&T service can be requested at the time of ordering.
